Our Story

For 25 years The Environmental Press Agency (TEPA) has specialised in award-winning investigations, awareness raising, press campaigning and fund raising for a wide spectrum of conservation, wildlife, environmental  and human rights issues worldwide, utilising global print media and television.

TEPA has been consistently voted in the top three in the British Environmental Media Awards, and has been the recipient of Amnesty International’s ‘Human Rights Press Award’, a duPont-Columbia Award for ‘excellence in broadcast reporting’ and is an Emmy Award winner for ‘outstanding journalism’. David Higgs, the founder of the agency and current CEO has been invested with an MBE for 'services to the environment and journalism'.

TEPA is unique and entirely independent. We bear witness, document and report what we see and what we find to facilitate positive change.
